Hello backers! 

As we push forward on the manufacturing of WAVE 1 we wanted to make you all aware of a behind-the-scenes change that we have made - we are officially changing our company name from Toy DNA to PVC Entertainment.

Despite initially introducing ourselves as Toy DNA when we debuted The Cursed Dead way back at DesignerCon 2019, the potential for confusion with another company amongst the toy community became much more apparent when we launched our Kickstarter campaign. Unfortunately, we were not able to change the company name while the campaign was live, but now that we have successfully funded and are moving forward with the production of WAVE 1 we wanted to "officially" make this change in an effort to minimize any possible confusion down the road... So in full transparency, Toy DNA is no more, long live PVC Entertainment!

What does this mean for you? Nothing really, we're just letting you all know!

Of course we're keeping a watchful eye on tariffs, we've still got quite a bit of time before we'll be shipping so we're hoping the situation continues to improve... Sending positive vibes to all that are navigating this difficult time in the industry.

Thanks again for coming along with us on this journey to raise the dead, we promise much more exciting news in our next update(s) that are coming very soon (a Baphomet reveal & opening up our Backerkit / Preorder store)!

We did it. The Cursed Dead - WAVE 1 is happening - thanks to all of you!

We've enabled a feature that is fairly new to Kickstarter allowing for "Late Pledges". Pretty much all of the reward tiers and add-ons are available as late pledges (please note that most are a few dollars more than they were during the campaign). Late pledges and additional retailer preorders WILL all count towards unlocking both of our Stretch Goals...

So we are busy finalizing the digital sculpts for the BASIC figure - Manglers AND the BASIC figure - Baphomet!

We will be sharing additional progress images of both on here and our social media accounts in the coming weeks...

We continued doing livestreams up through the final hours of the campaign, you can find all TWENTY NINE (29!) of them saved in our YouTube Playlists.

MASSIVE THANK YOU to all of our backers, you all ROCK, we're on our way to raising the dead... but the campaign isn't over yet - we've still got a little over 24 hours to go!!!

Adam was on Toying Around - Unboxing Thursdays last night and then Adam & Josh were both on Toymigos "They're Not Dolls!" when they got the news that the campaign was fully funded, please click on the respective links if you'd like to watch the replays on YouTube.

We have enabled the Kickstarter Late Pledges feature, this will count towards any unlocks. Anyone who pledges AFTER the campaign has ended WILL be paying a few dollars more than the current campaign rewards and add-ons, so making sure you have pledged for everything you want before the campaign ends tomorrow at 6pm PST is the best way to lock in the lowest pricing options. 

Here's a quick rundown of how to manage your pledge & add-ons:

- Open our Kickstarter campaign link & click Manage Your Pledge

- Then click Change Your Pledge

- Choose your reward (it can stay the same or you can change it here if you wish) 

- You will then have the option to select as many add-ons as you’d like!

We'll be hitting a few more livestreams tonight/tomorrow before the campaign ends, as always we will be saving these to our YouTube Playlists.

We have 48 hours left to go with the campaign, reminder emails are going out any minute now to anyone who signed up for a notification, we're hoping to get a little bit of a surge of new backers - so we wanted to reveal our BASIC figure - Manglers STRETCH GOAL that we are setting our sights on and hoping to unlock and make available as an ADD-ON:

1:12 scale (between 6.75” - 7” tall) highly articulated action figure includes:

• 2 heads (Mangler head with articulated / Skull head with articulated jaw)

• 4 sets of hands

• 2 sets of feet

Tales of mysterious lights coming from far below the waves go back farther than the written word. Ancient cuneiform tablets tell tales of fish-like creatures, larger than a man, that would bedazzle fishermen and lure them into the briny depths... to consume them. 

The few survivors of these encounters claim that it starts with 2 glowing lights coming from deep within the bottomless murky water - so captivating that you can’t look away. They speak of hearing a faint song that sounds reminiscent of a child-like lullaby. 

Some have called them the Oannes, others referred to them as the Apkallu. Legends claim that when the very first creatures crawled forth from the ocean, some turned back, displeased with the world they found above the water, instead choosing to return to the darkness from which they came. 

Now, with overfishing & pollution choking even the most remote parts of the seas, these creatures have risen back up from the abyss. 

Beware the lights… and the song... of the Manglers.

VHS inspired packaging mock-up!

If you've watched any of our livestream appearances then you've probably heard us talk about what we are planning to do for packaging, if not, then here is the rundown as well as a 1st look at an early (not final) mock-up of the Wendigo VHS inspired packaging artwork!

Approximate packaging dimensions: 10" x 7" x 3"

Collector friendly packaging - a transparent removable blister tray insert in a full color window box with a front flap with velcro closures (imagine NECA Ultimate or BBTS Monster Force packaging).

Our "classic" Monsters (Drinkers, Gourdy, Doctor Crane, Doctor Scante, Krankle, & Wendigo) will all have unique VHS inspired packaging artwork.

The demons (Djinn, Hæt & Wragē) will have the same size/style packaging but the artwork will instead be inspired by ancient books (imagine something more along the lines of the Necronomicon).
